YOUTH THEATRE
The Youth Theatre as an integral part of Z-PAC Theatre provides a very valuable service to the theatre and to the wider community. The opportunity to train in a fully
equipped theatre and to participate in fully staged shows as well as be taught stage craft and the whole range of different theatre and acting skills is a great opportunity
for the Youth Theatre members.
With three groups of between 15 to 25 students each, the directors and tutors are kept very busy. These are dedicated tutors, the most of whom are qualified teachers
trained in theatre and drama who donate their valuable time for free to the young people, and as a result of their generosity the fees are very affordable for families to
provide quality theatre training for their children.
2012 Youth Theatre Fees
Full Year $300 (includes membership)
Preferred option – Fees to be paid in full – with a discount of $30 offered – cost of $270.
Parents may choose to pay 2 fee instalments as follows:
Semester fees
School Term 1 & Term 2 will be $150. Fees to be paid no later than 10/02/12
School Term 3 & Term 4 will be $150. Fees to be paid by 14/07/12
Numbers will be restricted so it is very important that, if intending to enrol in 2012, you and your child attend sign-on dates for the appropriate group. Please ensure
you have your enrolment form, condition form and medical form signed, including payment for the 2012 fees.
Teens
Students to be aged 15 to 18 or in years 10,11,12 or Gap Year before tertiary students.
Matthew King has taken on the role of Director working with assistant Joel Grabbe. Sign On Tuesday 31st January at 4.30pm. Weekly sessions every Tuesday
5.00 – 7.00pm.
Transit Teens
Students to be aged 12 to 14 years i.e. in years 7,8 or 9 of school.
Director Michelle Clements has been involved in Youth Theatre for the past 3 years and her most recent achievement – The Production of Greased Lightning. Michelle
has a Performing Arts Degree from Capricornia Uni and she looks forward to working with our transit teens. Sign On Wednesday 1st February at 4.30pm. Weekly
sessions every Wednesday at 4.30pm.
Juniors
Students aged from 9 to 11 years i.e.in Years 4, 5, 6 of Primary School.
Director Tamara Bailey. Sign On Thursday 2nd February at 4.30pm. Weekly sessions every Thursday. (time to be confirmed)
